This movie was all that I thought it would be. If you appreciate the redneck follies of Larry and his crew from Blue Collar comedy, you will probably like this movie too. Right from the start, it gets you with plenty of bathroom humor, political incorrectness and a charming shot of the Cable Guys butt-crack!
With a slight twist at the end, it was certainly enough to get a couple of good belly laughs out of me and the kids especially loved it. I give it four stars for being childishly entertaining and making my eyes water from laughing. I mean, who doesn't want to hear Larry talk about a "brown snake playing peek-a-boo with his butthole"?

I didn't think I would actually like this movie, but I did. Vin Diesel did a pretty good job of playing the middle-road on the this one. While not really notable for any comedy roles, his typical tough-guy attitude actually helped lend credence to some of the funnier parts of the movie. Although some parts were entirely predictable, it was overall not bad - enough to keep the kids and the adults interested.
I might watch it again on a rainy Sunday.

Not much to say about this one, except that if you liked the first one - you'll probably like this one.
Gaylord and Pam are going to Miami with Pam's parents to meet the Fockers (Gaylords parents). With his usual "Gilligan" style, Ben Stiller's character Gaylord seems to screw everything up in a hurry. Some of the parts were genuinely funny, but for the most part, it was a repeat of the first with only a slight plot twist. I certainly hope there is no part 3 to this one. - Just let it go....
:-)

This movie was weird. A team of scientists, shrinks, math experts, etc. is called to the site of a crash in the middle of the ocean. The crash site is 1000 feet below the surface and appears to be an alien ship. After exploring this ship (which now appears to be American but from the future) and a 'sphere' contained within it, strange things start happening to the expedition crew. Sound confusing yet? It gets worse... So much of this movie was in and out of reality that it was difficult to maintain focus. I thought the plot and especially the ending were WEAK. Watch if you want, but be warned - it's pretty weird.

Excellent movie. My wife and I both saw this in the theater when it came out, but came accross it on HBO this weekend and watched it again. It has some grizzly violent scenes in it, but the overall theme and plot of the movie were pretty striking. It seemd to be based at least partly on a true story. Denzel Washington plays the part of a bodyguard assigned to protect (from kidnappers) a young American girl who lives with her parents in Mexico. I don't want to give away any spoilers to those who have not yet seen it, but I can tell you that this movie was well worth a second watch for me. Watch it!
